It is believed that everyone knows that pedestrian bridges are built with a good intention of providing a means of crossing busy roads in order to prevent unnecessary risk for all road users (pedestrian and vehicular).
A pedestrian is a person walking on the road.
Pedestrian bridges are bridges for those walking the road to cross a road so as to avoid running across the road with vehicular movements.
So, it is baffling to see pedestrians refusing to use pedestrian bridges and rather risk running across the road when there is a pedestrian bridge available.
Pedestrians have diverse reasons for not using pedestrian bridges from it not close to the bus stops to it not been safe at night and some afternoons or just a daredevil mindset.
We @sabiarea appeal to pedestrians to use the pedestrian bridge always.
